Additional Golf Conditions

All golf reservations accepted by Algarve Golf Agency are subject to these additional conditions as well as the booking conditions detailed on this site.

1.When making your booking, you will be asked for your requested golf start times and courses.

2.Once we have received confirmation of your times from the golf clubs, we will notify you in writing.

3.Whilst we endeavor to meet requests for specific courses, days and tee times, these are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee them and, accordingly, requested times are not binding on us. Once your golf times have been confirmed by the golf clubs, we reserve the right to charge an amendment fee as detailed in our booking conditions, if you decide to change them.

4.If the golf clubs change your tee times after confirmation, we will try to ensure a suitable alternative is found. Changes to golfing arrangements will not be considered as a major change as defined by our booking conditions.

We have to rely on mutual trust between ourselves, the golf clubs and our clients concerning golf arrangements, which are sometimes difficult to co-ordinate for various reasons beyond everyone’s control.

Although we recommend courses for each hotel or resort, you can choose your own golf from the list on this page at our specially discounted green fees.

Discuss your requirements with our reservation staff at the time of booking, and if you require any information or advice on the courses to play, we have experienced staff available to help you choose.

Handicap Certificates

In order to speed up play, golf clubs in the Algarve are becoming more strict in the enforcement of handicaps. You should ensure that you have a handicap certificate with you. If you are not a member of a golf club or do not have a handicap, you should obtain a society handicap certificate.

Some tour operators, who organise golf holidays, do not mention handicap certificates in their brochures, but this does not mean you are exempt from local golf club rules. Without a handicap certificate, there is always the possibility that you will not be allowed to play.

Green Fees for Independent Golfers

If you have made your own travel and accommodation arrangements, we can still pre-book your golf tee times for you plus a booking fee.
