A
wonderful Algarve quad bike
tour, that begins with
full guidance and safety tuition. The
quad trail commences from base, heading
north of Albufeira
towards Tunes. We travel along tarmac
before driving our quads off road where
you will see small, unspoilt, rural
Portuguese houses. Make sure to wave at
the locals, as they love to see our
quads pass by! We may even come across a
herd of goats which is always fun! |
| Once
we reach the pit of a mountain we head
north, upwards and onwards. We always
choose a route suitable and tailored to
the group´s skill set; for those
seeking adventure we will drive our 4x4
quad bikes down a steep,
challenging slope or, if the group
includes less experienced quad
riders, we will choose a less
demanding route. Whichever way we go,
our quads will cross terrain covered by
the Algarve’s beautiful plants, which
we will of course point out and identify
for you. |

On
the mountain top you will see some
stunning scenery so please ensure you
have your camera at the ready. One view
looks out over the picturesque Algarve
village of Alte, another shows you just
how far our quads will
have travelled – Albufeira and
Portimao are in the distance and it’s
a truly amazing site! |
| After
a short stop at a typical Portuguese
café, our quads head back
towards Albufeira. On the way, we pass a
small orange plantation where you can
smell and touch the wonderful eucalyptus
tree – it has such an intensive aroma.
Passing through more rural terrain, with
its traditional houses and stunning
views, our quad group
continues its trek back to base. A true Algarve
adventure; family fun
is our goal and we always endeavour to
provide a quad biking
experience to be remembered! |

Our
extended Algarve quads tour
begins with full guidance and safety tuition
at base and is a favourite team
building or MICE activity
with event management companies. From here,
our quad bikes head off towards the Algarve
village of Tunes. After a brief pause for
refreshment at a typical Portuguese café we
start to head North East in the direction of
Alte which is arguably one of the prettiest
villages in the Algarve. |
| The
quad trail for this tour is
a long, steady climb that passes through
orange, lemon, peach and avocado groves.
When our quads arrive in Alte, we ride
through a maze of cobbled streets and take
time to enjoy the town's architecture, which
includes colourful window frames and
cheerful chimney pots. Once we climb the
cliff, you will get to enjoy yet more
spectacular views. Here we turn off the
quads´ engines to appreciate the true
beauty and peacefulness of this Algarve
stop – unforgettable! |

The
central attraction of this Portugal
tour is the fonte picnic area near
the stream. This is perfect place to park up
our quad bikes, grab
something to eat and drink and enjoy the
true tranquillity of this charming Algarve
village. After our break, our quads start
their decent towards Albufeira, crossing
amazing off-road terrain
that is suitable for all levels of ability. |

the weather permits us, we will also cross a
river on our 4x4 quads,
which is a fabulous experience for everyone!
And, of course, you will get to see the
famous Algarve cork trees! We then head to
Paderne. Depending on the group
and whether they have experienced our tour
before, we will head towards the atmospheric
ruins of Paderne’s long abandoned Moorish
castle. After viewing this beautiful tourist
attraction we re-mount our quads and drive
off in the direction of the Quad
Ventura base. |
