Travel Extras
Travel Insurance
We consider good travel insurance to be essential. Indeed, it is our responsibility under European Community
Directives on Travel and Tourism to ensure that our clients are adequately covered against eventualities which
could otherwise ruin your holiday or cause you grave financial difficulties. It is a requirement that you
purchase our Comprehensive Travel Insurance, or alternatively, produce a certificate of your own insurance cover
which must give at least the same benefits as the one we offer you. We have arranged excellent cover through
one of the UK's leading Travel Insurers. We will automatically include the premiums in your holiday invoice
unless you have indicated on the booking form that you have arranged acceptable alternative cover.

(except champagne) and snacks, colour TV and payphones, use of newspapers and magazines. You can enjoy the
facilities for up to 3 hours before departure. Some lounges have child age restrictions. Make your reservation

Security Deposits
Most villas and some Apartments require a deposit against breakages, excess electricity usage for heating/air conditioning,
and telephone use. You will be advised of the amount at the time of booking. This will be paid with the cost of your holiday,
ten weeks before travelling, and will be refunded within 10 days of your return, less any unpaid items. It is normally £250
for villas and £150 for several of our apartments.
Cots & Highchairs in Villas and Apartments
Charges for cots and high chairs vary between villas, but generally a cot is £20 per week and a high chair is £5 per week
Extra Beds in Villas & Apartments
Extra beds can be provided in most properties to sleep an extra person. This is not to accommodate an extra adult, but for a
child. The extra bed may be used in a bedroom subject to enough space, or in a sitting or dining area if required. The normal
charge for an extra bed to include linen and towels is £50 per week.
Heating and Electricity in Villas & Apartments
During the winter period 1st November to 31st March, unless otherwise stated, an allowance is included in your holiday cost for
normal consumption of electricity. This will be advised to you in units of electricity on arrival at your villa. Any electricity
used in excess of this, will be charged to you locally. The meter will be read before, and at the end of your holiday. Logs for
use on fires and stoves may be purchased locally. For villas with air conditioning, a similar allowance will be given in the summer,
so it is in your own interests to ensure economical use of air conditioning units and heaters.
Swimming Pool Heating
Costs vary with each villa, depending on whether it is gas or electricity, the size of the pool and the outside
temperature. Pool heating is invaluable in early and late season, and in winter pools are considered too cold to swim without pool heating.
In the unlikely event of a pool heating failure, the
cost of heating the pool will be refunded for each day
when the heating was not working. No further refund can
be considered.
A general guide to the weekly figure for pool heating is shown below:
