Flights to Faro (Algarve)
Flights from all UK airports
We do not offer holidays which include air travel in the price.
We specialise in offering and arranging your ground arrangements which may include villa or apartment rental, or the booking of hotel accommodation..
Although we are members of both ABTA Retail Travel Agents and ABTA Tour Operator classes, we do not hold an ATOL licence for the sale of Air Inclusive Holidays.
In our capacity as ABTA Retail Travel Agents, we can advise you, or assist you to purchase flight seats in connection with accommodation that we are renting to you,
but this will not form any part of your rental contract and will not constitute an air inclusive holiday.
Under quite normal rules, if you purchase a flight directly from an airline, then you will have no financial protection, other than through your credit card, but we always recommend that you take out Airline Failure Insurance to give you complete confidence in the event of your airline ceasing to trade, as scheduled and low cost airlines are not protected by ABTA or ATOL bonding.
We can put you in touch with suppliers of such insurance on request.
Due to the enormous number of flights to the Algarve each week, with a huge variation in the airlines pricing policies, it is very difficult for the traveller to know the price of a flight until they come to the very last pages of their enquiry. Quite often, the initial price you see on screen at the beginning of your enquiry, is totally different from the final price.
The various components of a flight search and quotation are quite complex, and are shown below, but if you would like us to make the booking on your behalf, we can do this for a modest booking fee which will be advised at the time of booking.

Pros and Cons of Low Cost Airlines
Compared with traditional charter airlines, there are pros and cons to be considered. For the early booker, the are big savings to be made, as much as £150 per person on normal prices.
On the downside, Low Cost Airline fares increase the nearer you get to departure date, so they are not too good for late bookers. They require full payment for the flight at the time of booking. Should you wish to change your holiday dates after making your booking, then this may be more expensive, or not be possible at all. Meals are not included in the price, and on some airlines such as Easyjet, only snacks are available, and there is no pre allocation of seats, therefore not too good for large parties wanting to sit together. Some airlines such as Monarch and Jet 2 allow pre-booking of seats at a charge, including extra legroom seats.
Changes to your Holiday.
With low cost airlines such as Easyjet, any changes incur charges, and you will also have to pay the difference in cost between your original flight and the new one, which might have increased substantially.
If you book a low cost flight, and subsequently cancel your holiday, no refund will be made on your flight cost.
Low Cost Airlines - Questions and Answers
Q. Can I really save £100s by using a Low Cost Airline?
A. Yes, providing you book early. With Low Cost Airlines, as more seats are sold, the cost will increase. Last minute bookings are always more expensive than ones made 6 months before.
Q. Do I pay a deposit?
A. No. Flights with Low Cost Airlines have to be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Q. Is my flight fully protected by ABTA or ATOL (Civil Aviation Authority)?
A. Flights with Scheduled and Low Cost airlines are not protected by ABTA or ATOL bonding. We always recommend that you take out Airline Failure Insurance, to give you peace of mind. If you book your own flights, you will not be protected by ABTA or ATOL. If you book your accommodation and other services such as car hire with us, you will be protected by our ABTA bonding.
Q. Am I allowed any changes after booking?
A. Some airlines allow you to change by paying a fee, and also the difference in cost, which will always be more than you originally paid. There is also the question of availability of the villa or apartment you have booked.
General Information about Meals, Seating and Changes to your Holiday

With most charter airlines, and some Low Cost Airlines, you can pre-book emergency exit seats with more legroom . Only fully fit adults can occupy these seats, and no children. Some Low Cost Airlines do not pre-allocate seats. You board in check in order and take whichever seats are available. With some airlines you can book priority boarding.
