Wow! The most amazing villa

We have been staying at Algarve Agency villas for many years now. So trustworthy…

Casa das Heras is absolutely stunning, the location is fantastic, great directions always helps when travelling. The information prior to travelling is outstanding.

It has everything you could wish for in the kitchen, lounge and WIFI is great!

Only a short walk to restaurants, shops, bakery and a short drive to the most beautiful beaches.

The outdoors is stunning, beautiful warm pool, garden is so peaceful and well thought out. Washing line is well located!

Very comfortable beds, linen and towels. the service we receive is outstanding, prior to our holiday, during and after.

We cannot fault a thing. Always very sad to leave but eager to repeat book.

Our Summer Home
Casa des Heras has become our summer home from home for many years now, a sanctuary where we can work, play, relax or do whatever we like. The privacy and the security is wonderful.
The huge amount of space both indoors and outdoors allows us all do different activities to suit our individual needs all at the same time.

The pool is a great size and one of few in Portugal that are big enough to swim decent lengths whilst also well heated for those that need it.

The most important thing that keeps us returning is Maria and Antonio, our house managers who are the hardest working people with very high standards who wouldn’t bat an eyelid at turning up at midnight if informed them of an urgent problem.

Wonderful Spacious Villa
Casa Das Heras is a wonderful spacious villa situated in its own grounds with lovely gardens, lawn area and fantastic swimming pool, ideal for all ages.

The fact that we have been visiting this villa for more than five years says it all. We look upon it as home from home.

Antonio & Maria and the other staff are like friends now and are often there to greet us on arrival. Nothing is too much trouble.

Looking forward to July 2026.

Highly recommended villa
“Our second visit to Casa das Heras and was just as impressive as years ago. An excellent equipped villa that is maintained and cleaned to a high standard as is the large heated pool. Set in a large garden surrounded in fencing and electric gates the security and privacy are first class. Wonderful views from roof terrace especially at sun set. Local shop, restaurant and cafe within walking distance but would recommend hiring a car as limited choice. Owners are a pleasure to deal with and are easy to contact. We look forward to returning soon.”

Casa Das Heras
“We had a lovely relaxing stay in Casa Das Heras. The villa was very well equipped and finished to a very good standard. The pool was used extensively! We also hired cars which enabled us to explore more of the Algarve and the villa was a good base to do this from. We will hopefully be coming back to the Algarve next year…..”

Excellent accommodation
“Can’t fault the property, rooms all immaculate, the grounds & swimming pool were very well kept. The guy that checked us in was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Maid service every couple of days was very welcome too. I’d definitely return to this villa!”

Luxury and well equipped villa
“First impression… how big and beautifully furnished this villa is. Wandering around looking at the lovely bedrooms, each with a luxury en-suite was an exciting experience for all, we couldn’t wait to see what was around the next corner, not being disappointed by anything we saw.

The kitchen was well equipped and so spacious. Looking in all the cupboards to find plenty of items you would need, even the cutlery was like you would find in a good class restaurant. There is a laundry room with an easy to use washing machine, also, the pots and pans looked like they were new… even the oven sparkled.

We were all very impressed with having the robes and towels for the pool. 7 people in our party, all with their own private spaces and balconies, what more could you ask? The walk in shower downstairs was ooh so nice that, I now want one! With a choice of two BBQ areas one outside and one from the kitchen door that had, lovely views over the side of the villa. The pool is quite a good size to swim in. Having been to this area 22 times and in quite a few villas, I would say this is certainly one of the best we have stayed in.

Thank you for ease of booking, being given information each step of the way and their help in making this a wonderful holiday for 7 really satisfied customers. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone, who wants a lovely holiday experience that you won’t forget.”

Another wonderful stay in Casa das Heras
“This was our third visit to Casa das Heras and yet again we all had a wonderful holiday. There were three generations staying including an 18 month old and we certainly made use of the pool and surrounding grounds.

We particularly like how rural the property is, yet is within a very short distance of the beach, supermarkets and restaurants.

And Albufeira is only a 10 minute or so journey away. (We always hire a car as it is essential here). The villa is extremely spacious and everything you need is provided – including a bean to cup coffee machine! The grounds are beautifully kept and very private and the pool is just the right size.

The local manager is on hand should you have any problems and is only a phone call or text away; the maids come three times a week; and there is also a man who looks after the general running of the property and grounds (he is really friendly and speaks good English as our Portuguese is woefully lacking).

As our family expands I suspect we will have to look for a larger villa in future which is a real shame as this place really is perfect and we would be hard put to find somewhere as nice.”

Fantastic Place to Stay
“We were immediately impressed with the villa, the space and cleanliness was second to none. The pictures on the website are impressive but still don’t do the villa justice.

There were eight of us including two younger children and there was ample space for the children to play football and play with Frisbees on the garden, my elder kids made full use of the table tennis and we all loved the pool.

The outside dining area was perfect, and had plenty of room for all eight of us.

I’m now racking my brain trying to think of how our stay could have been improved and am struggling to come up with anything.

The maid, gardener and manager were all very friendly and approachable. We will definitely consider this villa the next time we visit Portugal in the not too distant future.”
